​THE DETAILS

On Friday, we will check in at 3:00 pm. Our first class will be around 4:30, followed by a special welcome dinner. We will have a morning and afternoon class on Saturday, and a final extended session on Sunday morning. Check-out will be at noon. I have about 15-20 spots on this retreat.

This is a yoga AND sound healing retreat, with all sessions led by Checka. Two of the classes will include both modalities; one will be just yoga and one just sound. While there will be some chill vinyasa (flow) yoga on the retreat, this is not a rigorous asana (posture) retreat in general. The overarching energy is to rest, refuel and renew. This retreat is an offering for folks of all levels of yoga experience, including beginners. Wait until you see our practice space - a dreamy wood-beamed chapel space, complete with its own wood-burning stove, set upon a hill overlooking the rest of the farm. Just walking in the door leads to deeper breaths - and the acoustics are great in there too!

What to do in between classes? Hike or snowshoe the trails right on property, sit by the gorgeous two-sided fireplace in the main lodge or the private fire pit at your cabin, warm up in the sauna, visit Woodstock or Quechee, walk literally down the street to check out Long Trail Brewery, watch the rescued sheep, alpacas, chickens, and horses enjoy the good life, or even pop over to Killington for a ski sesh! Or do nothing at all other than soak in the winter magic. It's up to you, but there is no shortage of delightful things from which to choose!

Last but certainly not least, I am so excited for the delicous, nourishing dining on this retreat! Our two dinners, along with lunch on Saturday and brunch on Sunday, will be lovingly provided by Holly from The Soul Chef. We are already working on an omnivore menu that I heartily believe will delight everyone at the table! Dietary restrictions will be respected and accommodated. We will gather in the Refectory (main lodge) for all of these meals. Breakfast items will be provided for you to enjoy at your own pace in your lodging. There is a kitchen in every cabin and lodge at OQ Farm. No need to bustle out into the chilly morning - or change out of pj's! - before getting to enjoy your morning coffee or tea. That being said, I'll be sure to make a big pot of coffee in the Refectory too, in case you want to come hang in the great room (pictured above).​

LODGING AND PRICING*

We have multiple lodging options for you to consider. All are located within close walking distance to one another. You can peek at OQ's accommodations page for more info, but here's an overview:

1. REFECTORY (THE MAIN LODGE) ~ The Refectory is a beautiful lodge with three bedrooms, 2.5 shared bathrooms, a huge kitchen (where our caterer will be preparing the group meals), plenty of dining space, and a gorgeous great room with a wood-burning fireplace and comfortable seating. There is also a lovely porch and patio, walk-in sauna, laundry machines and wifi. The common areas in the Refectory (including a designated restroom and sauna) will be open to all retreaters throughout the weekend, as this is the main gathering space. There will be between 6 and 10 total retreaters staying in the Refectory; here are the lodging options:​

 

• Triple or Quad Occupancy Bunk Room #1 with Shared Bath - this room has two twin beds and one set of bunk beds.

  • ​TRIPLE PRICING: $895 pp (please note: you must register with two others in order to guarantee this pricing)

  • QUAD PRICING: $795 pp (please note: you must register with three others in order to guarantee this pricing)

• Double or Triple Occupancy Bunk Room #2 with Shared Bath - this is a small room with two sets of bunk beds.

• Single or Double Occupancy Queen Bed Room with Shared Bath - this room has a queen bed for 1-2 folks.

2. PRIORY & FRIARY (THE NEW CABINS) ~ These private and luxurious cabins were built in 2021 and have everything you need! Each has two bedrooms with private bathrooms (one en suite bathroom in the queen bed room and the other in the hallway for the twin beds room). Cabin-dwellers will enjoy your own kitchen, dining nook, living room area, cozy indoor gas fireplace, private patio and fire pit, laundry machines, wifi, and and an easy walk to the Refectory. There will be 3-4 retreaters staying in each of these cabins; here are the lodging options:

REGISTRATION

To register, please email Checka Antifonario at info@yogawayretreats.com to request the room you'd like, and mention if you would like to be housed with any particular roommates or cabin-mates. You will receive an invoice for payment in full, which will confirm your registration. Payment plans always available upon request!​​​​​

Please note: retreat payments are non-refundable. We do know that life presents the unexpected at times! For peace of mind, we highly recommend travel insurance for all retreats.
